Story about me

From an early age when I was a toddler I really liked airplanes and went to the Kaagbaan with my parents to watch airplanes.

When I was older I had a lot of airplane books about military and civil aviation.

When I was older I also went to watch airplanes along the Kaagbaan.

In 2003 I first started spotting planes and taking pictures with my first digital camera, the Minolta Dimage 7, which you could take very nice pictures with at the time.

During the plane spotting along the Kaagbaan I met a lot of other plane spotters who also had the same hobby as me

In those years I had spotted many beautiful planes at the Kaagbaan. The planes I spotted were the cargo planes.

I also spotted the Passenger planes, but I found them less fascinating than the freight planes. In those times I bought other digital cameras to take very nice pictures of spotted planes.

I also made bus trips and went to other airports with other plane spotters to spot planes there and to take beautiful pictures.

In 2016 I stopped plane spotting and started spotting trucks at the Bloemenveiling Aalsmeer. I also went to truck shows and truck meetings and took beautiful pictures of show trucks, special paint trucks and much more.

In 2019 I started spotting planes at the Polderbaan. On that day I had spotted many new airlines and cargo planes.

In 2019 I also started spotting business jets at Schiphol East for the first time. And I spotted some great business jets and took pictures.

During the Covid 19 we had spotted airliners and cargo planes that never fly to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. But during the Pandemic many cargo flights were flown to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

Later a spotter said go and spot business jets at Schiphol East. On a beautiful sunny Saturday I went to spot business jets at Schiphol East for the first time. Arriving at Schiphol East I saw many business jets parked and departing. There were also large business jets that were very beautiful.

On a Sunday I went spotting business jets again with success. In 2022 I started to build my own website with many beautiful photos of business jets and other spotted aircraft.
